Danielle L. Borel, a partner at Breazeale, Sachse & Wilson, L.L.P., was recently elected Secretary of the American Bar Association Young Lawyers Division (ABA YLD). Her candidacy was unopposed and endorsed by attorneys across the country. After serving as Secretary in 2022 and Chair-Elect in 2023, she will assume the Chair of the Division in August 2024.
The ABA YLD has about 100,000 members and 300 affiliated groups making it the largest young lawyer organization in the world. The Division is committed to representing the newest members of the profession, ensuring the profession reflects the society it serves, and providing young lawyers and young lawyer organizations with the tools and opportunities for professional and personal success.
Dani Borel practices in the areas of commercial litigation and healthcare litigation. Her practice includes litigation involving: complex healthcare litigation; healthcare provider licensing and payment disputes; Opioid litigation; trademark and copyright infringement; unfair trade practices and unfair competition; contract disputes; and commercial issues. She also advises clients on healthcare compliance and general business issues.
Along with her service in the ABA YLD, Dani currently serves as the Chair Louisiana State Bar Association Young Lawyer Division.
