Compensation and Benefits

Location: Baton Rouge, Louisiana
Experience Required: 10+ years in Construction Law & Litigation
We are seeking an experienced Construction Law Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a decade or more of hands-on experience representing owners, contractors, subcontractors, and design professionals in all aspects of construction law — from contract negotiation and drafting to complex litigation and dispute resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
· Handle construction-related litigation, arbitration, and mediation.
· Draft, review, and negotiate construction contracts, subcontracts, and related agreements.
· Advise clients on risk management, project compliance, and claims avoidance.
· Manage a diverse caseload with a focus on delivering exceptional client service.
· Work collaboratively with firm partners and clients across multiple projects and jurisdictions.
Qualifications:
· J.D. from an accredited law school.
· Licensed and in good standing with the Louisiana Bar.
· Minimum 10 years of construction law and litigation experience.
· Strong knowledge of public and private construction projects, lien law, and contract disputes.
· Excellent research, writing, and negotiation skills.
