Leo C. Hamilton was honored by the A.P. Tureaud Sr. Black Alumni Chapter at LSU for his accomplishments and contributions to the university on November 22, 2013.Hamilton graduated from the law school in 1977 and served as the first black president of the Baton Rouge Bar Association. He also served on the Tiger Athletic Foundation and holds membership in several organizations in the community.
