Breazeale, Sachse & Wilson, L.L.P. (BSW) congratulates Kristin Oglesby, Alexandra C. Hains, and Philip Giorlando for being named Partner, effective January 1, 2024.
Kristin Oglesby is a partner in the Baton Rouge office, practicing Corporate and Finance, Tax and Associations and Nonprofits. Prior to going into private practice, Kristin served as judicial law clerk to the Honorable S. Kyle Duncan in the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. Kristin graduated summa cum laude from Paul M. Hebert Law Center, in 2018. She received her undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University in 2015.
Alex Hains is a partner in the Baton Rouge office, practicing in the Labor and Employment section of the firm. She represents private and public employers in a broad range of labor and employment matters. Alex has been recognized by Best Lawyers and Louisiana Super Lawyers for labor and employment law. Prior to entering private practice, Alex served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Madeleine Landrieu at the Louisiana Fourth Circuit Court of Appeal. Alex graduated cum laude from Loyola University College of Law in 2013. She received her undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University in 2009.
Philip Giorlando is a partner in the New Orleans office, in the Labor and Employment Law section. Philip served as Senior Editor for the Journal of Energy Law and Resources and graduated Order of the Coif. Philip earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Louisiana State University. He has advised clients on numerous labor and employment issues, including FMLA & ADA compliance, Federal Wage and Hour Guidelines, and avoiding discrimination in business succession planning to many different industries including, Banking, Hospitality, Hospital/Healthcare, Charter Schools, and City Governments throughout the State. Philip presently serves on the Board of the Young Professionals Committee for the Jefferson Chamber of Commerce and is the Chair of the Louisiana State Bar Association’s Labor and Employment Subcommittee.
