Scott D. Wilson, of counsel in the Baton Rouge office, focuses his practice on labor and employment law, handling litigation, counseling, and administrative matters. He has extensive experience representing both employees and employers in cases involving Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act, and related state and federal employment laws.

With a career spanning more than 30 years, Mr. Wilson has litigated a wide range of employment and business matters, including discrimination, whistleblower claims, wage and hour issues, and constitutional law disputes. He has handled more than 185 cases in federal district courts and over 35 appeals to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, securing landmark reversals of district court rulings. His experience also includes contract disputes, non-compete and non-disclosure agreements, and personal injury cases.

In addition to litigation, Mr. Wilson has significant experience in employment counseling and compliance, including responding to administrative charges, conducting internal investigations, participating in mediations, and advising clients on workplace policies. His depth of experience allows him to provide strategic guidance to businesses navigating the complexities of labor and employment law.
