Kristin Oglesby is a partner in the Baton Rouge office of Breazeale Sachse. Ms. Oglesby began her career at an international law firm, where she advised both public and private U.S. and foreign clients in a wide range of industries on mergers and acquisitions, governance policies, tax matters, and cross-border transactions. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Oglesby served as judicial law clerk to the Honorable S. Kyle Duncan in the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. Ms. Oglesby received her Juris Doctor and Diploma of Comparative Law from Louisiana State University's Paul M. Hebert Law Center in 2018, summa cum laude, where she graduated first in her class and was elected to the Order of the Coif. Ms. Oglesby also served as the Executive Senior Editor of the Louisiana Law Review. She received her undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University in 2015.
