Trenton Oubre, James Raines and Joseph Cefalu will be presenting Louisiana Workers' Compensation Adjuster Licensing Training at LASIE's 2018 Open Forum & Legislative Update on July 11, 2018 at the Baton Rouge Mariott. 

About Trenton Oubre: 
Trenton J. Oubre is a partner in the Baton Rouge office and has been in practice since 1991. Mr. Oubre is a former member of the firm's Management Committee. He received a Bachelor's Degree from Louisiana State University in 1987 in Business Administration and received a J.D. from Louisiana State University Law School in 1991. Mr. Oubre is admitted to practice in all Louisiana Courts, the United States Middle, Western and Eastern Districts as well as the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Oubre has practiced in the casualty, tort and insurance defense areas for the past twenty three years and has developed a very specific experience with complex workers' compensation defense matters on behalf of employers, insurers and self-insured funds. He has handled literally hundreds of trials, hearings, appellate arguments and motions. He is a frequent lecturer on workers' compensation defense strategy and related matters including casualty liability defense matters.

James R. Raines is a partner is the Baton Rouge office of Breazeale, Sachse & Wilson, L.L.P. and serves as the Recruiting Partner for the firm. His principal areas of practice include real estate matters, including landlord/tenant and Fair Housing Act litigation and compliance, administrative law, municipal law, workers’ compensation, and compliance with the Medicare Secondary Payer Act.

Joseph J. Cefalu is a partner practicing in the Casualty Litigation section of the Baton Rouge office, and is also a member of the firm’s recruiting committee. Joseph attended Louisiana State University and graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in the field of accounting. He then graduated cum laude from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University with a Juris Doctor and Graduate Diploma in Comparative Law. Joseph was also a member of the Louisiana Law Review. He primarily practices in the areas of casualty litigation, tort and insurance defense, and workers' compensation defense on behalf of employers, insurers and self-insured funds. Joseph also has experience in defending trucking and premises liability cases, lease disputes, interdictions, judicial commitments, successions, business disputes and class actions.
