Anthony P. Palermo, a partner with the firm, practices in the area of casualty litigation with an emphasis on workers’ compensation.  In addition to his membership in the Louisiana State Bar Association, Mr. Palermo is involved with the Baton Rouge Bar Association and its Workers’ Compensation Committee.  After completing his undergraduate studies at Louisiana Tech University (B.A. 1989), he attended the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University (J.D. 1992).  Mr. Palermo was employed as a Mediator and Judge with the Office of Workers’ Compensation for over nine years.

Representative Matters

Audra Gross v. Corporate Personnel Service, 961 So.2d 433 - the Trial Judge found fraud on behalf of the claimant.  The Court of Appeal upheld the ruling.

Our Lady of the Lake v. Claudette Matthews, 2007 WL 2782340 in which the Court ruled that a mental disability was not related to the employment.
