Michael R. Hubbell is a partner in the Baton Rouge office of Breazeale, Sachse & Wilson, L.L.P. Mr. Hubbell has concentrated his practice in the areas of banking law, commercial transactions, property (real estate) law, commercial litigation, family law, and community property law. He has handled numerous commercial collections, foreclosures, real estate sales, leases, mortgages, and commercial loan closings. Mr. Hubbell also handles closing transactions governed by the Louisiana Uniform Commercial Code and the Federal Ship Mortgage Act. Further, he represents clients in general contract matters, business and corporate transactions, and general commercial litigation primarily in the areas of contracts, collections and real estate, including boundary disputes. He also represents clients in family law matters including community property and succession partition suits.

Mr. Hubbell also has experience from the business perspective of commercial and financing transactions. He was previously employed as a consultant in the management advisory services division of an international accounting firm, during which time he was responsible for conducting feasibility studies for acquisitions, renovations, and refinancing of hotels, condominiums, skilled nursing facilities, and life care retirement centers.
